ABOUT ME

My Background

I have a passion for figuring out how things work. I wonder about how things move and try to picture their movement in my mind to determine its operation. I have always enjoyed working on car engines, small electronics and woodworking projects. I currently have my own workspace with power tools and 3D printers. I use all the materials and tools I can to further my abilities. I enjoy learning and am always trying to learn new techniques. I have started and completed many personal projects over the years. I have built a life-size hoverboard that a person can ride, two working miniature arcade cabinets, desks, a desktop computer and am currently making a replica of Ironman’s helmet complete with lights and servos. I also enjoy traveling and have enjoyed experiencing cultures around the world, including Italy, France, Greece, Australia, USA and Africa. I recently received my Basic Operations Drone License because of my passion of photography, travelling and technology. I am 22 years old with my G Ontario driver's license and have access to a vehicle.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

My Experience

May 2020 → August 2021

SYSTEMS ENGINEERING INTERN AT ZEBRA TECHNOLOGIES

At Zebra I oversaw the requirement management process for their autonomous robot. I held requirement management meetings to discuss authenticity and testability and resolved disapprovals. I developed and presented my findings on new store environments and pointed out where our autonomous robot may have issues. I developed and conducted tests for a variety of sensors including Remote View Cameras (RVC), Lidar, IMU, Ultrasonic Sonic Sensors and Motherboards. I also completed Sensor Benchmarking, sensor comparison and Quality Test Procedure (QTP) Testing. This involved vibration and thermal tests. I ensured the Master Test Strategies had a 100% Completion and 100% Coverage for the release date of the robot. I was involved in a cross functional team where we would discuss and find possible new tools to use for our requirements management libraries. I also introduced this team to the MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) method. With this new introduction of MBSE I helped implement it into the requirement management process.

March 2020 - Present

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO) FOR UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO DESIGN LEAGUE

As the CTO of UTDL I manage a team of about 20 other students. I plan and host Solidworks, Fusion 360, Arduino and 3D Printing workshops. These workshops take place in lecture halls on campus and published onto our YouTube channel, UTDL Technology Team. I organize and plan team meetings, delegating tasks to my team members. My team and I also moderate the Designathon, an event which students compete against each other after given a problem statement. We work on clarifying these problem statements and ensure that they are achievable within the given time limit. I have gained experience working with a team of people, ensuring they meet deadlines and how to effectively collaborate with other teams within UTDL.

March 2019 -> March 2021

SR. TECHNOLOGY EXECUTIVE FOR UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO DESIGN LEAGUE

As Senior Technology Executive I manage a team of three other students. August 2018 and                    May 2019 -> August 2019

TECHNOLOGY AND FIELD MANAGER

At Damrell Foods Limited I would service, update and clean equipment used in McDonald Restaurants. I would ensure that the buildings were serviced and ready to meet quality inspections. This can include tasks such as painting, grouting, plumbing, wiring, organizing, mounting fixtures/mechanisms, electronics work, 3D modelling and 3D Printing. Working here I gained the experience of ensuring that my projects meet the set standards and food quality inspections.

January 2019

MCMASTER DESIGNATHON CHAMPION

I won a Designathon held at McMaster University where I competed against another 200 students (50 Teams). My team and I chose an L3 Wescams problem of protecting an externally mounted camera located on the belly of an aircraft from an emergency landing, due to landing gear failure. We came up with three different prototypes, a retraction method, an ejections system and a revolving method that moved the camera on top of the aircrafts nose.

September 2018 -> April 2018

HUMAN POWERED VEHICLE DESIGN TEAM

We designed, built and raced custom bikes. They are built of carbon fiber and could travel over 100km/h. We tested the aerodynamics of wheels and wheel covers. We also conducted tests on a variety of composite materials. I gained experience working as part of a team and individually to help the team.

September 2013 -> June 2016

VOLUNTEER DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY LEADER

I volunteered at my primary school at the Design and Technology Club. I taught and supervised the students on the proper use of power tools.
